I talk to a lot of agents and their business is up over what it was last year. As a result, they think they are doing really well. They are doing well, but there is something that they are missing and overlooking. You can tell what it is from this question:
“Are you busy because your marketing is doing well (people responding to your marketing), or are your deals coming because you are bumping into them from a hot real estate market?”
Usually, their answer to that question is that it has nothing to do with their marketing. That is where you have to really make it happen. If you fail to get your marketing working, there will come a time when the “wait for it” approach won’t work. The real estate market will not always be hot…so what are you going to do?
