Real Gen 021 – The Formula To Get 2-3 Times The Leads From Your Marketing

There is a formula to marketing and when you apply it correctly, it takes the guesswork out of the process so that you can have predictable results.

The biggest problem that I have seen is that too many agents rely on what I call “Me Too Marketing.” This means that they watch to see what all the other agents are doing, and they just do the same thing. It looks something like this:

  • We have the lowest fees
  • We have the best customer service
  • We are full service
  • We have been in business for 300 years
  • We are better
  • Etc.

When potential customers see or hear these kinds of phrases, it means nothing to them. They have heard it from everyone else and so you don’t stand out from the competition.

BEFORE

Bad Site Example

Notice how there is nothing special about it. The entire message is about the company and nothing is about the potential customer. All four pieces of the marketing formula are missing and so it will produce very few leads.

AFTER

Good Site Example

Notice how all four steps are there. The message is focused on the potential customer, their problem, and how you can solve that problem. This will produce 2-3 times the leads as the previous example.  

Action Items

  1. Review your marketing using this 4 step formula
  2. Adjust your marketing as necessary to include all 4 steps
  3. Start reviewing your junk mail
  4. Notice which pieces of junk mail have all 4 steps and which ones don’t. Also notice which marketing pieces you are more likely to respond to and why so that you can include that in your marketing
