When I ask most Realtors if they have a subscriber list of prospects, they look at me like they have no clue what I am talking about. Well, this episode addresses not only why you should have one, but also some tips on how to build it.
A subscriber list is a list of people that have requested information from you. Since they have requested information, this is called permission-based marketing. You have permission to market to them because they wanted your information.
What kinds of information would they want?
All kinds of information! It just has to be something of value. As an example…
Put yourself in the shoes of the potential seller who sees something on Facebook that says, “How To Sell Your Home For 15% Higher Price.” Would that peak your curiosity?
It probably would…it is targeted to what you are interested in and it gives you an outcome that is very beneficial.
If it just said, “Get Your Free Seller’s Report“, would you still request it?
I doubt it. It is too vague and you are not sure what is in it for you.
